By accessing or using PawChef (pawchef.ai), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use our services.

Service Description

PawChef is an AI-powered pet nutrition recipe platform. We use artificial intelligence to generate customized recipes based on your pet's species, age, weight, and health conditions, referencing ASPCA food safety data and AAFCO nutritional standards.

Medical Disclaimer

All recipes and nutritional information provided by PawChef are AI-generated and intended for reference only. They do not constitute professional veterinary diagnosis, treatment, or dietary advice. PawChef is not a substitute for consultation with a licensed veterinarian. You are solely responsible for decisions regarding your pet's diet and health. PawChef LLC shall not be held liable for any health outcomes resulting from the use of our recipes.

Account Responsibilities

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account. You must provide accurate information when creating your account and keep it up to date.

Credits and Subscriptions

PawChef offers free usage credits, purchasable credit packs, and Pro subscription plans. Purchased credits are not eligible for cash reimbursement except where required by law. Pro subscriptions are billed monthly or annually through Stripe and can be cancelled at any time; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. We reserve the right to modify pricing with reasonable advance notice. For EU/EEA users: by purchasing credits or subscribing and beginning to use the service, you expressly consent to the immediate provision of digital content and acknowledge that you waive your 14-day right of withdrawal under the EU Consumer Rights Directive.

Billing & Credit Policy

• Purchased credits are generally not eligible for cash reimbursement, except where required by applicable law.
• If AI recipe generation fails due to a system error, the credits consumed for that generation are restored to your account.
• Pro subscription fees already charged are not eligible for prorated cash reimbursement for unused portions of a billing period.
• For billing inquiries or disputes, please contact us at support@pawchef.ai. We will review each request on a case-by-case basis.

Cancellation Policy

• You may cancel your Pro subscription at any time through your account settings or the Stripe Customer Portal.
• Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period. You will retain access to Pro features until the period expires.
• No prorated cash reimbursement is issued for the remaining days of the billing period after cancellation.
• Unused purchased credits remain in your account after subscription cancellation and do not expire.

Intellectual Property

Recipes generated through PawChef are provided for your personal use. The PawChef platform, brand, design, and underlying technology are the property of PawChef LLC. You may not copy, modify, or redistribute our platform or its code.

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, PawChef LLC shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of or inability to use our services. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you have paid to PawChef in the 12 months preceding the claim.

Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with applicable United States federal and state law, without regard to conflict of law principles.

Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify registered users of material changes via email or platform notification. Continued use of PawChef after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
